Templates
Word Templates: When downloading these templates, you must place
(save) it in the correct templates folder. In Windows, look for the Program Files folder
on your hard drive; in it, find and open the Microsoft Office folder then find the
Templates folder. On a Mac, find and open your Microsoft Office folder then find the
Templates folder. Word templates should be saved there. To use one in Word as a
template for a new file, you must do File: Open (using the menu bar, not the icon on
the toolbar.)
Inspiration Templates: When downloading these templates, you must place
(save) it in the correct templates folder. In Windows, look for the Program Files folder
on your hard drive; in it, find and open the Inspiration 6 folder then find the templates
folder. On a Mac, find and open your Inspiration 6 folder then find the templates folder.
The symbol library for Living and Nonliving is also needed and must be placed in the
correct folder (Inspiration Libraries 6) of any computer that will be used for this
assessment.To use one in Inspiration as a template for a new file, you must find it
during the Open command (you can make a template the default so it always loads whenever
you start Inspiration. To do this do File: Template: and find the template then click Set
as Default.)
To download using Windows: right click on the link and select the save command. To download using a Macintosh: use the Control (CTRL) key while clicking and then select the save command.
